Orders larger than sales? Call it a bullwhip. Basically more orders are coming in to help with future sales (which makes sense, you may want to have inventory on hand and go through the shipment process less frequently). This does raise a problem when people aren’t ordering as much as they once were. This will likely only impact smaller co’s as larger co’s can make due with other distribution means.
