Crews to remove 5,000 containers from cargo ships stuck in Chesapeake Bay

Remember the Suez Canal incident from last year? Well its happening, again. While its not the 1B/ day burn that the Suez experienced, a ship in the Chesapeake Bay has been stuck in the mud since March 13 - a whole month by the time this log drops. There are about 5,000 containers onboard and the cost of excavation is being split through the maritime law called general average. Learn more here.
